Testimony

Shelley provided comfort and guidance in my darkest times as I faced switching off my Mum’s life support.  She made herself available no matter what the time of day or night, whether it was for a shoulder to cry on or just to talk.  Shelley provided beneficial translation of medical terms so that I could follow what doctors were trying to achieve.  She never pushed an issue , but rather suggested things to think about.  She sat with me to my mum's last breath providing comfort and dealt with the hospital while I concentrated on saying goodbye."

The Story Behind Ray of Light

I’ve been honoured to perform Reiki on many people through various stages of life.  I held vigil at my friend Tony’s bedside until his death January 2017 aged 52 of metastatic lung cancer. Before his death, Tony gifted me with a lovely Szarkowski crystal bracelet because he wanted me to remember the light I brought into his life and anyone whom I meet.

My Dad ‘Ray’ died suddenly 11pm New Year’s Eve 2017 after 20 years of debilitating illness. Hence, ‘Ray of Light’ was born.
