ABOUT SHELLEY

I am a Reiki Master, Writer, Registered Nurse and Midwife with 26 years’ experience in patient care. I am married with four grown children. I have experienced trauma firsthand and am passionate about supporting those affected by the loss trauma causes as well as those with life limiting or terminal illness.  I am a certified End of Life Doula and have been acting in this role all my life.

My book "Victim or Victorious" was published in 2013 and has helped inspire thousands of people who have struggled with low self esteem, particularly those subject to bullying.

 

In 2005, I founded Affirmations To Empower and commenced presenting my story (titled “Beauty Within”) to Primary and Secondary Schools around Australia.

 

I'm passionate about continuing to help others through public speaking, healing work, and consulting as a trauma and End-Of-Life Doula.
